Eastern Slope Customers,

This time of year we often see a rise in Spam and Phishing emails.  The National Cyber Security Alliance has provided the steps below to help identify Spam and Phishing Emails:

The email asks you to confirm your personal information.

  • The web and email address do not look genuine.
  • It’s poorly written.
  • There’s a suspicious attachment.
  • The message is designed to make you panic.

Remember when in doubt, throw it out or contact the company directly to verify if the email is legitimate.  Please contact our office at 888-999-3778 or customerservice@esrta.com with any questions.

Voluntary 10-Digit Dialing begins on April 24, 2021 for area codes 719 and 970.The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted 988 as a new three-digit number to be used nationwide to reach the National Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Crisis Lifeline, starting July 16, 2022. Customers must continue to dial 1-800-273-TALK to reach the Lifeline until July 16, 2022. In order for 988 to work in your area code, 10-digit local dialing must first be implemented. Beginning April 24, 2021, you should begin dialing 10 digits (area code + telephone number) for all local calls. This permissive dialing period will allow calls dialed with 7 digits to still be completed. Beginning October 24, 2021, you MUST dial all 10-digits for ALL local calls to be completed.
